The Community Advocacy Team (CAT) was founded to serve youth and families living, going to school, or working in Valencia County who are unable to get their needs met and require assistance accessing existing services and advocating for needed services.

To effect permanent and positive change at the family level to eliminate those issues leading to barriers to services.

Mission

To bridge the gaps in services with prevention, intervention, and diversion programming throughout Valencia County and Pueblo of Isleta for youth and families through advocacy and accountability.

Purpose

To discern and identify those areas where gross and negligent practice is occurring in our community.

To provide wrap around services for individuals and/or families in need.

To advocate for parent and youth rights for services for their youth for the purpose of personal and public safety and wellbeing.

To support and encourage parenting toolkit classes for parents of youth of all ages and diversity.

To advocate and support for sustainable housing for all.
